About / Contact

Hi! My name is Josie, I'm 24 and I live just outside of London. I don't like tea, cats or cystic fibrosis (CF) but I do like shoes. A lot. I also quite like to make things and I sell them on my Etsy shop, Frojo Designs.

I originally started this blog (find out the meaning behind my blog name here) to try and raise a bit of awareness of living with CF but then I quickly got distracted by fashion. Story of my life! This blog is basically my little diary, where I post outfit pics, a sprinkling of beauty and ramble on about nonsense, including too much about my dog Freddy. I still do blog about life as a sick chick (to raise awareness, not for sympathy thank you!) which you can find in posts labelled 'CF' and I wrote a lot about it on my CF page. You can also find out loads more on the official website. It can be a pretty grim thing to live with, but I don't let it take over my life. Shoes on the other hand...

In March 2016 I was placed on the double lung transplant list after my health deteriorated to the point I wouldn't survive without one due to the effects of cystic fibrosis. I was lucky enough to receive my new lungs in July 2016 and I plan to make the absolute most of my second chance at life! I'll no doubt be blogging all about it, as well as trying to raise awareness of cystic fibrosis and organ donation. There'll be plenty of personal style posts in between though, as clothes are still the love of my life.

  1. I also blog about my chronic illness, and am trying to branch out and post more style, beauty and lifestyle posts - although my illness controls my every move and decision, it still doesn't define me and there's much more to me than being an 'ill person'. As you'll know illness can take over your life so sometimes it's difficult to blog about anything but it, especially when you want to raise awareness, but your blog has inspired me to talk about different things that interest me as an individual, sans illness!
